The heat is high and we’re cruising through summer with tons of competitions and our biggest events of the year. Media applications for the SRD $5K Shootout as well as applications for joining the Bro-Am in late August are open. Both applications close this Sunday Aug 2nd @ 7pm.

Drifting the Plains 3

Drifting The Plains (DTP) events are our grassroots drift weekends open to drivers of all skill levels, from newbies to veterans. There are up to 3 days of drifting available to drivers that purchase a weekend pass.
Drivers can run as singles, tandem with friends, or compete with others. We run our events in all weather, rain or shine.
2026 SRD $5k Shootout
- August 13-16 (no spectators Aug 13)
- MEDIA APPLICATIONS: Apply to join the exclusive access media team to shoot photo and video at the Shootout. Apps are open until August 2nd @ 7pm.
The SRD $5000 Shootout is for the best regional drivers to compete for a huge check. The tandem competition is a single elimination shootout format with a qualifying for bracket placement across a field of 48 drivers.
Drifting and Donuts
We’re teaming up with Fargo Cars & Coffee to host Drifting & Donuts on Sunday morning. Bring your favorite vehicle to the car show to enjoy local coffee and a drifting showcase. All ages and vehicles welcome at this free event.
FD Pro-Am Rounds 3-4

- BRO-AM APPLICATIONS: Apply to get into the Bro-Am competition that runs alongside the Pro-Am. Applications are open until Aug 2nd @ 7pm
This is a 4-round points series held over the course of 2 double header weekends. Each round will be held on a single day including practice, qualifying and judged competition. The points champion at the end of the series will win a Formula Drift PROSPEC license for the following year!
