At normal drifting events, the course has a start and finish. At hotlap events, such as the Spring Matsuri and Driftoberfest, the track layout will make a continuous loop that allows drivers to make multiple laps before they decide to pull off track. The layout will have an entrance and exit that allows for cars to get on and off track with ease with minimal effect to other cars on track. A staff member will wave cars on track when there is a safe opening in traffic. Drivers will be allowed to make as many laps as they choose before pulling off.
Multiple cars will be allowed on track at the same time. The limit of cars allowed on track will vary based on run group. The run groups with beginner drivers will have very few cars on track at the same time, while run groups with more experienced drivers will be allowed to have more cars in tandem with each other. If you’ve passed our Drift Classes, you’ll have a lot of fun at a hotlap event.
Rules and tech requirements are the same as Drifting the Plains events.
Drifting Games
These events are great for a lot of seat time and practice. We also run fun drifting games to break up the weekend including “Park in a Box”, a team tandem event, donut competitions, and more!
All drivers meetings are mandatory. If you miss the drivers meeting you will have to wait until the next one, which will be held every hour for those that can’t make it on time.
