When does driver registration for an event OPEN? For Hotlap, Classes, and Drifting the Plains events it opens 1 month before the first day of the event. For FD and Big Money Competitions it opens in the spring.
When does driver registration for an event CLOSE? At midnight on the first day of the event. Unsold driver slots will be available for purchase at the gate when the event begins later that day.

2025 $5000 Shootout

The $5000 Shootout is for the best regional drivers to compete for a huge check. The tandem competition is a single elimination shootout format with a qualifying for bracket placement across a field of 48 drivers. Driver registration sold out within 36 hours in the spring last year! Everyone wants to show off and take a shot at the cash prize, and sponsors often throw in additional prizes to sweeten the pot.
Note: Competition driver pass includes 1 crew card. Sunday Fun Run driver slots will be available in July, a month before the event.
